Today I caught a glimpse of time, frozen in perfection,
it’s lightness took my breath away,
stole my sorrow-
floating
above
its
reflection,
weeping
silently
for
lost
moments,
waiting
for the
ticking clock
of opportunity.
We wept together
in pain
with hope
of
gentle currents
and heady winds
of bright change.
Till then-
content
we admired
Life’s reflection...

The winds of change will blow through, Cheryl. I;m sure of it.
ReplyDeleteIt can’t happen soon enough for me, my friend.
DeleteHow did that Harry Potter mirror get in the way? You know the one they had to hide somewhere else. Yeah too much reflection. Well just enough reflection is a good thing. That image is floating priceless. Thanks Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteAhhh...the balancing act of living fully. The peaks would not be thus without the shadowy valleys, yet it is in those cool shadows that we often find reprieve, ready to climb the next summit.
