Poke Me...

I’m done!
It’s Friday, after Thursday, that was more like a Monday. Pinch me. Is it really the weekend, that long awaited 48 hour blissful fast forward two days of the week? Sigh. Yes. I am thrilled to have some time to myself. Time without work, time without a holiday, time to breathe, or eat, or walk, or watch tv, or go to the park, take photos, take a ride, write a story, draw a picture, picture me going crazy trying to choose what to do! 😱😱

Poke me at about 8 am tomorrow-that’s 3 whole hours after I normally have to get up. Then we’ll see what happens. 😉😏

If only I could be this relaxed....
Pssst...ain’t he sweet?
Happy #free48!

This post is part of the JusJoJan prompt brought to you by Linda Hill. Today’s prompt was ‘poke’.

  2. I tend to sleep like a baby, Cheryl, but if I’m being poked to wake up, it’s a cat doing the poking.

    1. I do sometimes, others my mind churns and keeps on working. Have a great weekend Dan. Oh. I still haven’t figured out the connection to associating my new blog when I follow. It is automatic, especially since most of the blogs I follow are Wordpress. Sigh...

  3. Aw...I miss those days sleeping like a baby. And back to the time watching my babies sleep. Enjoy every precious moment! Good luck with your new blog here on Blogger. That's where I started out, then switched to WP. It's a challenge there to keep up with changes as well as software issues. Happy Blogging to you Cheryl!

  4. Hi Shelley. Well, we all need change from time to time. My main reason for leaving was they have ali it on photo space unless you pay for more. I already pay for my site there and just can’t afford the upgrades. I tried resizing my images and even deleting. I also have two blogs there! Not surprisingly the second site ‘filled up” twice as quickly as the first. It was time to break away. Thanks for taking time to visit and I hope to see you again. That little fella is my 8th grandchild. They don’t live nearby but I get lots of photos and video sharing time. Happy weekend!

  5. Oh, what a precious jewel! Don't you just want to snug him up and spend all day smelling his head and listening to him breathe? (Never liked baby dolls, crazy about real babies!)

  7. We have known each other across a few writing/blogging/ social avenues for quite some time now. I am honored to be a part of his Saturday posts as the bartender. It has long been a Bucket List item for me. These days it seems hazardous in reality. Lol. So glad to meet you Kim! I will visit your blog.

  8. Sleeping babies. Now that is something I can relate to. :) Congrats on the blog move! I've contemplated various ways to deal with the old posts so I can stay 'as is' and not dole out more $$. The hubster thinks I should put them in book format for my children to have when we're long gone. Then I can delete, delete. lol Maybe?? Enjoy your weekend!

    1. Smart hubby. I have such a plan as well as moving all my photo/poetry posts to a file on my laptop for creating the perfect coffee table book that so many of my friends have requested. Time, why art thou so fleeting? Meanwhile I persevere.. We do what we can Katy. We do what we can. 😏.
