It Exists #1LinerWednesday

 I know where Peace lives…

It is in Nature’s voice..

when your heart is listening.

Enjoying simple good food

Making new friends in unexpected places

Breathing in, I accept its healing

Breathing out, I release my fear

It is in the smiles of loved ones

and  dances on the wind

It embraces those whose purpose is joy

and celebrates the hearts of children

with their special magic

and unadulterated joy in living

It is in the precious and fleeting moments-

an unexpected flight aboard a mystical indoor wheel of color and light!

It glows with eager anticipation!

It’s message is etched on the faces of lifelong friends

and it giggles at human frivolity

It marvels at Earth’s reverence,

awed by glistening dewdrops

and the constancy of signs

It enfolds the weary in Eternity’s Love and carries them home.

It encourages our purpose
and wonders as we play
if we believe its promise
to console at close of day

Yes, it seems elusive
as we seek and wait
and cry.
We beg and hope in vain-
we wring our hands
and wonder why..

When?
Where?
How?

It isn’t something yet to find
or memories we left behind.
Be still, so quiet, look within-
for therein Peace
resides, my friend.

We are truly walking each other home. 🤗🤗🤗

    1. Thanks Dan. The world should perhaps stop praying for peace, as though it is something out of reach but rather embrace the peace that is so freely given to us. Every soul has the power to change the world by changing within.
