Where Miracles Happen/#Thursday Doors

I know, I know, I am always late. Sometimes I am busy and sometimes I am awaiting inspiration. This week it was a bit of both. Maybe busy just got in the way of inspiration, but it was a wonderful kind of busy. Good food, friendly encounters and making a bit of holiday magic. Ok, on with this or I’ll surely miss the deadline.

As our host Dan of No Facilities knows, I have a pretty unconventional view regarding doors and since they are portals, the possibilities can be vast. Miracles come in many forms but there is none more exciting to me than the miracle of Creation. Too many humans don’t take the time to really see life unfolding, don’t understand the need for honoring this earth and disregard its delicate balance. But then too many humans don’t understand this about their own bodies either.

When I walk outside I hear the whispers of the wind in the trees, feel the earth breathing beneath my steps and embrace the love that Mother Earth shares with us freely in every moment. You know the old adage, “If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, is there really a sound?” Well, I wonder how long Nature can continue to be as brilliant, benevolent and generous if humanity does not pay attention, appreciate its gifts and return the unconditional love she offers.

When I look into the heart of life
I forget that there is pain and strife

Her gifts too great to count and
the challenges she surmounts
give me pause

For if we shall be grand
it is only hand in hand..
Connected we survive
we thrive..
Brilliant!

Oh, and don’t forget to dance~

  2. Lovely and important reminder. Doors are everywhere, nature knows and let's dance. I wish you joy.

  3. Remember time is relative. So when approaching the speed of light and in other undocumented circumstances time dilates. Rumor has it observing nature is one of those circumstances. Love the post. Thanks Cheryl
