Holiday Rainbow! #CFFC

First of all I want to thank Cee for such a fun challenge this month. Much like my blogging friend Dan of No Facilities I have an endless archive of unused photos. This gives us a great opportunity to share them. Oh, and if you haven’t been to his blog lately you need to check out the link for his book trilogy The Dreamer’s Alliance. It’s a great series and available on Amazon.

So, without further babble from me I’ll share some of my yearly ‘holiday’ colors!

Easter means Spring to me. My Mama loved this time of year..

Perpetual Spring in Panama

Bees n blooms always an Easter gift

Japanese Magnolia

My little tree from a twig. My second favorite here in Panama

Okay I do love the feel of Valentine’s Day but without the commercialism!

Nature can coexist. Why do humans make it so challenging?

Dragonfly bliss

Well, I mean a red rose…
With dewdrops!

You can’t be from Louisiana and NOT celebrate Mardi Gras. You’d have to be some kind of Scrooge or something. 🫢😂

Color defines this festive celebration!

And no Mardi Gras season would be complete without a King Cake. I always baked my own.

The Wooden Boat Festival in Louisiana is a colorful affair!

While living in Costa Rica we had the chance to celebrate their Independence Day celebration

This image always reminds me of Veterans Day

Happy Halloween!

Too many Christmas photos to even sift through but these show the color and joy the holiday should bring!

Twinkle twinkle!

My ‘famous’ Jalapeno Cheese Bread!

Well… just his first time to remember digging into those gifts!

What? Haven’t you ever had pizza on Christmas? The color is there! 😛

And what New Year’s celebration would be complete without the ritual detonation of the dried out gingerbread house? This was our own tradition with our boys when they were growing up.

Kaboom!

Almost as much fun as the hours it took to put it together!

And then there’s my favorite holiday!
Earth Day. What better way to celebrate our sustainer than by touching it?

I have too many ‘tree and me photos’ to post so I snagged a couple

I love trees and the energy they have. They’ve seen it all!

I once had a Summer of dragonflies!

The Pelican Brief reminded me of Nature’s magnificence

Resplendent Quetzal

The Earth saying goodnight in the most glorious way

If we only look up the sun will wink

Yeah, says the tiny wonder, I’m here too!

To feel the beat of Earth’s heart you must connect with her..

The gentle Manatee understand love

Where the ocean meets the sand is where I understand the power of our living force

and in the shadows of a forest there is no sound but that of its family

Yes, seeing these things a beautiful gift
but being able to capture them in photos has been my greatest joy

Can you feel her? Do you see her? This image was a reflection of my peace when in the company of the Earth.
Step outside and share her light. Whisper words of thanks for all she gives.
Life is miraculous!

Hugely minuscule in the glow of Existence,
 and so fragile…

Enjoy it before it’s gone.
Happy New Year everyone. May yours be a wonder!

    1. Tha ks Dan. That was his second go. Mom heard someone tromping downstairs late one night and went down to find him getting a ‘sneak preview’. Lol. His response when she asked what he was doing… “well, there’s gift…”
